ANDY DE WET
Andy is the founder and owner of the De Wet group. He is a qualified botanist and the driving force in all three divisions. Always passionate, Andy started breeding aloes in 1973. Starting De Wet Water Features in 1984 he steadily evolved the business into becoming the internationally recognized horticultural force it is today.

Adrienne de Wet
Adrienne de Wet is the silent force in the office, managing the administrative and financial aspects of the business. She is also involved in many of the day to day functions and decision making.

Saskia is an exciting new member of The ALOE FARM family. She is managing and co-ordinating the production teams by ensuring efficient high-quality planting according to our customers' requirements.
She is also tasked with final trialing of our exciting newly developed De Wet Hybrids of various genera that are developed in-house for the world markets.

Lassy Makubela
​Lassy Makubela is our Farm Manager at The ALOE FARM and began his role back in 2008. He handles all the day to day affairs at the farm such as production, staff, customers, vehicles and many more.is also tasked with final trialing of our exciting newly developed De Wet Hybrids of various genera that are developed in-house for the world markets.

Bruce is the farms assistant manager, second to Lassy Makubela, and shop manager who is also responsible for orders and all general matters on the THE ALOE FARM.

Quinton Bean
Quinton Bean is a respected and highly knowledgeable plant expert who joined CND in 2005 and has over 20 years’ experience in plant breeding and selection.
Together with Andy de Wet, they started De Wet Plant Breeders which specialises in developing new and exciting plant varieties for the international market. Quinton works on breeding Cotyledon, Salvia, Osteospermum, Aloe, Agapanthus, Gazania, Kalanchoe, Arctotis and many other genera.

Mark richardson
Mark Richardson is our General Manager who comes from a corporate background, and has a vast knowledge and experience in leadership and management.
He decided to join his parents at CND Nursery to create a proper family business in 2019.
GENERAL MANAGER
Herman Modila, Nursery Manager at CND, competently handles all in-and out-going orders, also all the day to day affairs like production, staff, vehicles and many more.
